KOBA Shock Absorbers KMA model is an adjustable type, so you could control the damping force according to impact velocity. The KMA model has the 12 step range to rotate the dial from 0”to 300” so it is possible to get the fine-tuning. The new KMA model has a larger energy absorption capacity compared with that of the old model because of the increasing total surface area of the Piston. So it has a wide range of Effective Weight. The body of the KMA model is designed as one unit, so it is very solid and roots out the “Bottom out" problem. The threaded body of KMA provides mounting flexibility, location accuracy, and increased surface area for improved thermal energy dissipation to the atmosphere. The material of Piston Rod is hardened stainless steel and the bearing protects the seal and is made of special material that remains durable for a long time to ensure a long lifespan.

 

KMA model has also various options for the Bumper head such as Steel, Steel + hard cap (black), and Steel + soft cap (Green). Customer could select the option in accordance with the condition of impact and circumstance. On using a Bumper head, no need to use a stop collar, and if use Polypad or Urethane Cap, it can reduce the noise.
